Steps to make Leftover Chicken Karai Baryani:
Wash the Basmati Rice in cold water, Soak it for minimum 15 minutes
Sliced Onions finely,
Heat the pan add Onions and oil, fry until Crisp or colour turn light gold.
Then add all Masala, Curry leaf, Cinnamon Stick,Cardamom, Cloves,javitri,Cumin seed,Red Chilli,Salt,turmeric,Baryani masala and leftover Chicken karai. Cook until aromatic.
Boil the water add Cinnamon, Stick Cardamom,Star Anise, Salt and soaked rice. Bring to a hard boil,cook the rice on low heat for 5 minutes then stir and cook more for 5 minutes.Turn of the heat and Strained rice in strainer.
Assemble rice and chicken layers, 1st layer half rice in pan then all masala and chicken then rest half rice,top with orange colour and kewra water drops.
Cover the lid with clean kichen cloth, cover the baryani tightly. Heat baryani medium high for 10 to 15 minutes or until steam builds up.
Turn off the flame and Gently mix the rice and chicken, Serve it.
