Hey everyone, it is Jim, welcome to my recipe site. Today, we’re going to prepare a distinctive dish, parmigiana. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Parmigiana is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look fantastic. Parmigiana is something which I have loved my whole life.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have parmigiana using 8 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Parmigiana:
  1. Make ready 1 large aubergine
  2. Prepare 250 g mozzarella
  3. Make ready About 200 ml of passata sauce (see my recipe!!!)
  4. Prepare Parmesan cheese
  5. Prepare Flour for dusting
  6. Take Fresh basil
  7. Make ready Olive oil
  8. Take to taste Salt
Steps to make Parmigiana:
  1. Wash and slice aubergine. Dry on kitchen paper on both sides. Dust lightly in flour. Heat oil in a pan. Cook until golden brown. Set a side to cool
  2. Preheat oven to 180. In an oven tray, put a layer of passata, then aubergine, then mozzarella, Parmesan and basil. Sprinkle with salt. Continue until ingredients are used up. The top layer should have some passata and a bit of Parmesan
  3. Bake in the oven for about 40 mins until yummy looking. Rest for 10 minutes before serving 😊
