The ingredients needed to make Tomato Rice:
  1. Get 350 gm rice
  2. Prepare 4 tsp oil
  3. Take 1 tsp jeera (cumin)
  4. Get 1 tsp rai (mustard seeds)
  5. Make ready 2 soup cubes veg
  6. Take 2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp coriander
  8. Get 4 tomatoes
  9. Prepare to taste Salt acc
  10. Prepare 1 stick dalchini
  11. Take 4-5 peppercons
  12. Take 2-3 bay leaves
Steps to make Tomato Rice:
  1. In a pan take oil, add jeera, Rai and soup cubes, peppercorns, bay leaves and dalchini add tomatoes and saute till their soft and mushy.
  2. Then add red chilli powder, salt and mix well add coriander. Let it cook for atleast 5 mins on low flame till you see the oil separating from the sides.
  3. Finally add rice and mix them well with the tomato mix. Add 2 cups of water and let the rice cook.
  4. Serve tomato rice with cool aam panna or any drink you like.
