The ingredients needed to make Natu kodi Pulusu:
Get 500 gms country chicken
Get 1/2 lemon
Make ready 1 onion (sliced)
Prepare 5 Green chillies (sliced)
Prepare 2 tsp oil
Prepare 1 tsp turmeric
Prepare Salt as per taste
Prepare Red chilli powder as per taste
Prepare 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Take For masala :
Take 1/2 tsp jeera
Prepare 1/2 tsp cloves
Prepare 1/2 tsp pepper
Take 1/2 tsp elachi
Take 1 tsp khus khus
Prepare 1 1/2 tsp coriander
Prepare 1 tomato
Steps to make Natu kodi Pulusu:
Clean and wash chicken.
Add turmeric, ginger garlic paste and juice of half lemon. Mix well
Put the marinated chicken in cooker and add one cup of water. Cook it till 8 whistles
Fry the dry masala.
Grind it along with a tomato
Grind it to a smooth paste
Heat oil in a pan. Add turmeric and curry leaves.
Add chillies, let them fry
Add sliced onions once chillies are fried
Add salt once onion changes colour. Mix well.
Add ginger garlic paste. Mix well. Let it cook for 3-4mins till the raw smell goes
Add the grinded paste and mix well
Open the cooker and keep the chicken ready
Add the chicken along with the stock
Add red chilli powder and water if required, mix well.
Cook for 15mins with a lid on
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve it with Ragi Sangati or white rice or jowar roti or chapathi.
