  13. Prepare 2 tsp biryani masala
  14. Get 1.5 cup water
  15. Get 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

Steps to make One Pot Veg Biryani:
  1. Soak soya chunks in warm water for about 15 to 20 minutes. Soak rice into normal water after washing twice for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok and roast soya chunks. I have roast them without oil in a non-stick pan. If you want then you can add 1 tsp oil then roast it. Transfer soya chunks in a plate and add 1 tsp oil in same wok. Add cumin seed, bay leaf, cloves and cashew nuts. Roast for about a minute.
  3. Add onion, ginger garlic paste and roast about 2 minutes. Add tomato, capsicum and roast for about 3 to 4 minutes till tomatoes become soft. Now add soya chunks and biryani masala, mix well. Add soaked rice and water. Add salt as per taste. Add 1 tsp lemon juice. Cover and Cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
