Prepare 1 Cup Grated Beetroot (from 125gm Beetroot)

Take 1 pinch soda-bi-carb
Take For Tadka
Get 2 tbsp Oil
Prepare 1 tsp Mustard -Cummin Seeds
Take 1 tbsp White Sesame seeds
Take 1 pinch Asofoetida (Hing)
Take 1 sprig Curry leaves
Make ready 1 tbsp For Garnish chopped fresh Coriander leaves(kothmari)
Instructions to make Beetroot muthias:
Wash,peel and grate beetroot.Keep aside.
In mixing bowl add grated beetroot, dhokla flour, chopped coriander leaves, kasuri methi, salt, green chillies ginger paste,, white sesame seeds,, asofoetida,soda bi carb, and oil.Mix well.
Add curd and make into soft mixture.
Apply oil on your palms.Take a fistful of prepared beetroot mixture.Roll out into long ablonglated shape roll.Place in grease plate. Similarly make all rolls from remaining beetroot Mixture.
Place this plate in steamer Cooker.Cover with lid.Steam Beetroot Muthias (Rolls) for 25-30 minutes.
Cool them before cutting into round slices
Prepare Tadka..In small Tadka kadhai add oil heat it..add mustard and cumin seeds,add Sesame seeds asofoetida and curry leaves..Let them splutter.
Pour this tadka on cut Slices of Beetroot Muthias.
Reheat at time of serving in microwave for 30 secs. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
Serve & relish hot iron rich beetroot muthias as savoury.
