Prepare 1 cup Besan
Take 4 tsp Rava/Suji

Prepare 2 ) Gravy ingredients :
Get 2 Onion finely chopped
Make ready 3 Tomato diced
Take 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
Take 2 Green chilies chopped
Get 1/2 tsp Saunf
Prepare 1/2 tsp jeera
Make ready 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
Take 2-3 laung (cloves)
Make ready 2-3 Cardamom (Hari ellaychi)
Get 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Get 1 tsp Coriander powder
Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Get 3-4 tbsp oil
Get 2 tsp Malai /cream
Take to taste Salt
Instructions to make Steamed methi kofte:
Kofta method: Mix all ingredients of kofta.
Combine all & bind soft dough. If required add more curd in it.
Make small balls.
Boil 3 cup water in a wok. Add kofta balls in it. Boil for 15 minutes. Check with knife. If not cooked. Cook it more for 1-2 minutes. Switch off gas. Keep aside.
Gravy method ; Heat oil in a kadhai. Add cloves, cardamom, Jeera, saunf, hing. Let all brown. Add chopped onion, saute for 2-3 minutes. When onions leaves oil add garlic paste, tomato chopped, green chillies. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add all masalas of gravy. Mix all & cook till oil separates Kadhai. Mash with masher.
Now add koftas including it's water. Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Now simmer gas add Malai in it. Mix well.
Serve with tandoori roti or Jeera rice.
