  2. Get butter softened room temperature
  3. Get dark chocolate 60% cacao

Instructions to make Chocolate Salami:
  1. Break up the Maria cookies add the pecan pieces. Melt the chocolate and butter either in a microwave or by double boiler.
  2. Mix the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. When melted add the eggs in and whisk them in till smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. When blended, and smooth add in Maria cookies. Fold them in. Let rest and cool 10 minutes. Add to parchment paper and form a log.
  4. Roll it up in the parchment paper and tie the ends. Set in the refrigerator 4 hours or overnight. When chilled and your ready to serve it unwrap it roll it in the confectioners sugar, and slice it into circles and I hope you enjoy!!!
