  10. Get As required Bread crumbs to coat cutlets
  11. Prepare As required Oil for frying

Steps to make Leftover Idli Cutlets:
  1. Break leftover Idlis with hand to make crumble mixture.
  2. In mixing bowl add idli crumbs,peel & mash potato,mash boiled carrot, chopped onion and coriander leaves, green chillies ginger paste,salt, mayonnaise. Mix well.
  3. Make 6 equal size round flatten patties as shown.
  4. Dissolved maida & corn flour in water to make slurry. Dip each prepared patty in this slurry.
  5. Coat it with bread crumbs as shown. Similarly prepare all.
  6. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame till crispy golden. (Here I used leftover oil from frying green onions pakodas.. and use tadka pan to fry one cutlet at a time).
  7. Serve Relish Delicious Hot Leftover Idlis Cutlets with tomato ketchup, hot tea/ coffee.
