Prepare For Dough
Get 1 cup flour
Take 1 tsp salt
Prepare 1 tsp oil
Take 1/2 cup water
Make ready Chicken stuffing
Prepare 300 g minced chicken
Prepare 1 medium chopped onions
Get 2 tbsp oil
Make ready 2 tsp salt
Take 2 tsp cumin powder
Get 2 tsp black pepper
Make ready 3 eggs
Prepare 1 chopped stalk green onions
Take 1 chopped stalk green coriander
Take 1 tomato
Make ready 2 chopped green chillies
Instructions to make Mutabbaq |Saudi street food:
For dough…..Mix all dough ingridients in a bowl.
Knead the dough very well and spread some oil in a separate bowl..
Put the dough in that bowl,also spread some oil on the top of dough and cover with plastic..
Let Rest for 1 hour.
For Stuffing…In a pan add oil,chopped onions,minced chicken,1 tsp salt and tsp cumin powder…
Cook at medium to high flame until water becomes dry…
Now,add green onion,green chillies,green coriander,tomato,1 tsp of black pepper,1 tsp of salt,1 tsp of cumin powder and 3 eggs in a separate bowl.
Now add the cooked chicken mixture in the egg mixture and mix well…
How to fill…..apply aluminium foil at the top of ur shelf of working place…
Add little oil on aluminium foil…..
Make ball of dough like u do for roti..
Now rolling that dough bowl and roll it till it becomes very thin…
Apply smosa sheet/roll sheet on the dough..
Now,put some chicken material on it and close the dough from all the sides….
Put some oil in the plain pan and put the stuffed dough in it gently…
Cook from one side until colour changes then from the other side…
Pour some lemon juice on it or u can separately use lemon as u like…
It's really really really very delicious and a different kind of recipe….my mom's favourite (i can't explain😛)
